Crickex Registration: How to Open an Account in Bangladesh
Crickex is built for cricket first, and signing up takes a few minutes on a phone. The form is short, but two choices on it stay with your account for good: the username you log in with and the phone number your codes go to. Get those right and the rest is easy.
This guide goes through the form, the verification steps and the problems people run into. Already have an account? Use our Crickex login guide instead. Want the overview first? Read the Crickex review.
Before you start
- Use a phone number registered in your name that you'll keep. Password resets and OTP codes go to it.
- Have your NID or passport nearby. You don't upload it at sign-up, but the name and date of birth you type should match it, because Crickex checks before your first withdrawal.
- Switch off any VPN or proxy. They interfere with OTP delivery and can trigger extra security checks.
Filling in the Crickex sign-up form
- Open Crickex with the button on this page and tap Sign up (on some versions Register) at the top.
- Username. This is your login name. It can't usually be changed later, so pick something you'll remember and that doesn't reveal your full name.
- Password. Make it new. Don't reuse your bKash PIN or email password.
- Phone number with the +880 code, and an email address if the form asks for one.
- Currency: BDT. Check this before you submit.
- Referral code: optional. Fill it in only if a friend gave you one.
- Tick the box to accept the terms and submit.
- Enter the OTP sent to your phone to confirm the number.
You land in your new account. Signing up in the Crickex app follows the same steps, and the account works on both. Our Crickex app guide explains how to install it on Android.
Verification: do it before you need your money
Crickex lets you deposit and bet straight after registering, but it asks for KYC and a confirmed phone number and email before your first withdrawal. In practice that means a photo of your NID or passport and, sometimes, proof of address. Sending it on day one costs you five minutes. Sending it on the evening you've just won costs you a wait.
Crickex accounts can watch live streams in the live section once funded, which is one reason many people deposit soon after signing up. For the deposit itself, our bKash betting guide explains how mobile-money payments to betting sites work.
Registration problems and fixes
The OTP doesn't arrive
Wait a full minute before asking again; each new request cancels the previous code. Check the number has the right +880 format and that your inbox isn't full.
"Mobile number already registered"
The number is linked to an account, possibly one you opened before and forgot. Try the password reset on the login page rather than opening a second account. One person, one account.
The username is taken
Add a number or change the spelling. Write down the final version before you submit.
The page won't load
Old Crickex addresses stop working from time to time. Use the button on this page, clear your browser cache or try Chrome instead of an in-app browser from Facebook or Messenger.
