Crickex App: APK Download and Install Guide for Android

Shagnik Barman Author Shagnik Barman Updated on 2 October 2026 Reading time: 5 minutes

Crickex is built for cricket, and cricket in Bangladesh is followed on the phone. People check scores between classes, on the bus, and at tea stalls. So it makes sense that so many players want the Crickex app rather than the website. Getting it is a little different from a normal app, though, and that trips people up. This page explains why, and how to do it properly.

For the bookmaker itself (markets, live betting and streaming), see our full Crickex review.

Why the Crickex app isn't on Google Play

Google Play doesn't list real-money betting apps in Bangladesh. That is why you won't find the Crickex app in the Play Store, and why the "Crickex" apps you do see there are not the real thing. The genuine app comes as an APK file from the Crickex website. Download it only from there, or through the link on this page. APKs from file-sharing groups or Telegram channels can be modified, and installing one is the easiest way to lose your account.

How to download and install the Crickex APK

  1. On your Android phone, open Crickex through the button above.
  2. Find the app or download link on the site (usually in the menu or the page footer) and tap the Android option.
  3. When the download finishes, open the file. Android will warn you that the app comes from outside the Play Store.
  4. Tap Settings and allow your browser to install unknown apps. You only need to allow it for this one install, and you can switch it off again afterwards.
  5. Go back and tap Install. Once the install finishes, open Crickex and log in.

If the install fails with "app not installed", the usual reasons are a half-finished download or too little storage. Delete the file, free some space and download it again.

Crickex on iPhone

Crickex's own download link is for Android. On an iPhone, the Crickex mobile site in Safari does the job well. You get the same account, the same markets and the same cashier. To make it feel like an app, open the site in Safari, tap Share and choose Add to Home Screen. That puts a Crickex icon next to your other apps.

Updating the app

When Crickex releases a new version, the app usually asks you to update when you open it. Accept it. Old versions are behind most "stuck on loading" and login problems. If the app doesn't offer an update but starts misbehaving, download the latest APK from the site again and install it over the old one. Your account lives on Crickex's side, so you lose nothing.

App or mobile site: which is better?

Honestly, the difference is small. The app is a little faster to open and keeps you signed in, which helps during a tight run chase when odds move quickly. The mobile site needs no install and takes no storage, which suits older phones. Logging in works the same way in both. If you get stuck, our Crickex login guide covers forgotten passwords and missing OTP codes.

Is your Crickex APK the real one?

Crickex copies are common, because the name is popular and the app isn't in a store. After installing, check three things. The installer and the app icon both say Crickex. The app doesn't ask for your contacts or SMS inbox, which a betting app has no use for. And when you log in, you see your own balance and bet history. If any of that is off, uninstall the app, change your password from the Crickex website and download the APK again from the site.

Nobody from Crickex will ask for your password or OTP, on Telegram or anywhere else. Codes and links shared in groups that promise a "VIP version" of the app are the usual way accounts get emptied.

Paying in and cashing out from the app

The app uses the same cashier as the website, so the payment options and limits you see there are the ones that apply to your account. Pick a method, enter the amount and follow the steps on screen; for a mobile wallet that is either the wallet's payment page with your OTP and PIN, or a transfer to the number shown and the transaction ID.

Withdrawals need your phone, email and identity checks done first, so finish them on the day you sign up. Our Crickex review covers withdrawal minimums and timing, and the bKash betting guide explains how betting payments work on the wallet side.

If the Crickex app misbehaves

It installs but closes straight away: you probably have an old version. Download the latest APK from the Crickex site and install it over the old one.

Live streams stutter: switch to a steadier connection, or lower the stream quality where the player offers it. Streams need a funded account.

Play Protect removed it: reinstall from the Crickex site, or use the mobile site if it keeps happening. For other bookmakers' apps, see our betting apps guide.
