Rocket Cash Out Charge Calculator: Agent vs Dutch-Bangla ATM

Rocket is Dutch-Bangla Bank's mobile wallet, and that bank connection is the whole story on charges. Cash out at a Rocket agent and you pay ৳18 per ৳1,000 (1.8%). Take the same money from a Dutch-Bangla Bank ATM and it is ৳9 per ৳1,000, the cheapest regular cash out of any big wallet in the country.

The calculator uses the agent rate, since that is what most people pay. The ATM figure is in the table under it. Rates are as listed in Dutch-Bangla Bank's Rocket FAQ, read in October 2026. Check the current charge in your Rocket app or the *322# menu before you confirm.

For a general Rocket account:

The ATM charge is half the agent charge, so the saving grows quickly:

• ৳3,000: ৳54 at an agent, ৳27 at a DBBL ATM.
• ৳10,000: ৳180 at an agent, ৳90 at a DBBL ATM. You keep ৳90.
• ৳30,000, the daily maximum: ৳540 at an agent, ৳270 at a DBBL ATM. You keep ৳270.

For a few hundred taka the agent round the corner is fine. For anything from about ৳5,000 up, a Dutch-Bangla Bank ATM on your way somewhere pays for the detour. Take your phone along: you start the withdrawal from your Rocket account, not with a bank card.

The figures on this page are the ones Dutch-Bangla Bank prints in its Rocket FAQ. Wallets change their charges from time to time, so check the current charge in your Rocket app or the *322# menu before you confirm. If the screen shows a different figure, the screen is right.

Salary and stipend accounts are priced separately (lower at agents and at ATMs), so if your Rocket account was opened through your employer, check its own rate in the app.

Rocket has one habit that makes it cheap to deposit with: Dutch-Bangla Bank lists Send Money as free, for any amount. So when a betting site's cashier gives you a personal Rocket number, sending your deposit to it costs nothing.

An agent number is different. Money can only reach an agent as a Cash Out, so a ৳5,000 deposit to an agent number costs ৳90 at the ৳18 agent rate. Check the label next to the number on the cashier page, and read the charge on the confirmation screen before you enter your PIN.

Withdrawals cost nothing to receive. The charge only comes when you take the money out: ৳18 per ৳1,000 at an agent, ৳9 at a Dutch-Bangla Bank ATM.

If you bank with Dutch-Bangla Bank, there is a third way out. Moving money from Rocket into your DBBL account costs 0.9%, the same as the ATM, and moving it back from the bank to Rocket is free.
