Nagad Cash Out Charge Calculator: App vs USSD

Nagad prices a cash out by how you start it, not by which shop you walk into. Start it in the Nagad app and you pay ৳12.99 per ৳1,000. Dial *167# on a basic phone, or use the Nagad Islamic app, and it is ৳15 per ৳1,000. The agent and the cash are the same either way.

Put your amount into the calculator to see the fee at the app rate and what you get in hand. The rates are as Nagad lists them in October 2026, VAT included; the app's confirmation screen shows the exact charge before you enter your PIN.

There is no Priyo-style discount on Nagad and no ATM tier to remember. The only choice that changes the price is the channel you start from:

A two-taka gap per thousand sounds like nothing, until you multiply it:

• ৳2,000: ৳25.98 in the app, ৳30 by USSD.
• ৳5,000: ৳64.95 in the app, ৳75 by USSD.
• ৳10,000: ৳129.90 in the app, ৳150 by USSD.
• ৳30,000, the daily maximum: ৳389.70 in the app, ৳450 by USSD.

If you cash out ৳30,000 a few times a month, the app saves you more than ৳60 each time. USSD still has its place: it works on a button phone and without mobile data, which matters when your smartphone's battery is gone and the agent is right there.

1. Open the app and tap Cash Out.
2. Enter the agent's Nagad number or scan the QR code at the counter.
3. Type the amount. The next screen shows the charge and the total that leaves your wallet.
4. Enter your PIN and wait for the confirmation SMS. Show it to the agent before you take the cash.

On USSD the steps are the same, just through the *167# menu. Whichever way you do it, count the notes at the counter.

The caps come from Bangladesh Bank, which set the same limits for every mobile wallet in March 2025. Nagad may show a lower per-transaction amount for your account in the app.

When a bookmaker pays you to Nagad, the money lands in your wallet first. Nothing is charged until you cash it out, and then the app rate above applies. Fewer betting sites take Nagad than bKash, so check the cashier before you deposit: if a site takes Nagad deposits but pays out another way, you'll want to know that before you win.

When a bookmaker's cashier opens Nagad's own payment page, you confirm with your number, the SMS code and your PIN. That is a merchant payment, and Nagad takes nothing from you for it.

When the cashier shows a Nagad number and asks for a TrxID, look at what kind of number it is. An agent number can only receive money as a Cash Out, so the deposit itself costs ৳12.99 per ৳1,000 from the app, or ৳15 if you do it by *167#. On a ৳5,000 deposit that is ৳64.95 or ৳75. A personal number takes Send Money, which is a small flat fee per transfer rather than a percentage. The app shows the charge before your PIN either way.

Getting paid is free. A withdrawal from a betting site reaches your Nagad wallet as an ordinary transfer, and the cash out charge only applies when you take that money out at an agent.
