Bangladesh vs West Indies 2026: Test Series Schedule and Live Scores

Jarin Ahmed Author Jarin Ahmed Updated on 13 October 2026 Reading time: 2 minutes

West Indies arrive in Bangladesh on 18 October for a two-Test series, the only home cricket the men's team plays this autumn. The BCB announced the schedule on 8 September. The first Test is at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur from Wednesday 28 October to 1 November, and the second at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium from Thursday 5 to 9 November. There are no ODIs or T20Is on this tour.

Both Tests count for the ICC World Test Championship 2025-27. Going into the series Bangladesh are fourth in the table, with three wins, two defeats and a draw from six Tests (55.56% of the points on offer). West Indies are eighth, with two wins from twelve. Home points matter more than usual for Bangladesh this season, because the next two Tests are away in South Africa.

The last time they met

The last Test series between the sides was in the Caribbean in November and December 2024, and it ended 1-1. West Indies won the first Test in Antigua by 201 runs, and Bangladesh levelled in Jamaica with a 101-run win. West Indies' last Test tour of Bangladesh was in 2021, when they won the Dhaka Test by 17 runs.

Squads had not been named as of 6 October. We will not guess them here; they appear on the match pages once announced.

Around the series

Before this series Bangladesh play a Test and an ODI tri-series in the UAE. After it they leave for South Africa (two Tests, three ODIs, three T20Is). The full season is on our Bangladesh cricket schedule, and if you want to compare bookmakers for the Tests, see our cricket betting sites in Bangladesh.
