Melbet APK Download: Installing the Melbet App in Bangladesh
Search for "melbet apk" and you get a page of look-alike sites, each with its own download button. That is the main problem with this app: not installing it, but making sure the file you install is the real one. This guide covers where to get the APK, how to install it on an Android phone, what works on an iPhone, and what to do when the app refuses to open.
If you haven't opened an account yet, our Melbet review explains what the bookmaker is like for cricket and football before you commit to an install.
Why the Melbet App Isn't on Google Play
Google Play doesn't carry real-money betting apps in Bangladesh, so Melbet hands out its Android app as an APK file from its own website. There is nothing unusual about that. Most bookmakers that take bets from Bangladesh work the same way.
What it does mean is that you have to be careful about the source. Copycat sites with "melbet" in the domain offer files that may be old versions, modified builds or plain malware. The only safe route is the mobile apps section of the Melbet site itself. Open it through the button on this page and you land on a working Melbet address, then tap the Android icon there.
How to Download and Install the Melbet APK on Android
- Open Melbet in Chrome on your phone, using the link on our site.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page or open the menu and look for the mobile apps section. Tap the Android download.
- Chrome will warn you that the file can harm your device. That warning appears for every APK that doesn't come from Google Play. Tap Download anyway.
- When the download finishes, tap the file in the notification bar. Android will ask you to allow installs from this source. Go to Settings → Apps → Special app access → Install unknown apps, pick Chrome and switch it on.
- Go back and tap Install. It takes under a minute on most phones.
- Switch the "install unknown apps" permission off again for Chrome. You only needed it once.
The app opens on the sportsbook. Log in with the same phone number, account ID or email and password you use on the website. If something goes wrong at that step, our Melbet login guide covers forgotten passwords and SMS codes that never arrive.
Melbet on iPhone
iPhone users have a harder time. Apple decides per country which betting apps appear in the App Store, and the listing you find abroad may not show up with a Bangladeshi Apple ID. Before you start changing account settings for the sake of one app, try the mobile site in Safari. It has the same markets, the same live section and the same cashier, and you can add it to your home screen with Share → Add to Home Screen so it opens like an app.
If the Melbet site shows an iOS link for your region, use that one and nothing else. Never install a profile or "certificate" that a third-party site asks you to trust.
Keeping the Melbet App Updated
Apps installed from an APK don't update through Google Play. Melbet usually prompts you inside the app when a new version is out, and you just confirm the download. If the app suddenly crashes on start, or the login screen hangs, an old version is the first thing to suspect.
To update by hand, download the APK again from the Melbet site and install it over the old one. Your account and balance live on Melbet's servers, not on the phone, so you lose nothing. Uninstalling first is only needed when the new file refuses to install over the old one.

Deposits and Withdrawals in the App
The cashier in the app is the same one you see on the website. Our Melbet review lists bKash, Nagad and Rocket among the local methods, with a minimum deposit of BDT 400 for most of them. Pick the method, enter the amount and follow the wallet's own steps: either the wallet's payment page with your OTP and PIN, or a Send Money / Cash Out to the number the cashier shows, followed by the transaction ID.
Withdrawals usually go back to the same wallet you paid in with. Before the first one, Melbet may ask you to complete your profile and confirm your identity, so do that early rather than on the evening you want your winnings. The new-player offer on our list is up to BDT 10,000 on the first deposit; read the wagering terms in the bonus section before you accept it. Our bKash betting guide explains the wallet side, including bKash's own cash-out charges.

When the Melbet App Won't Install or Open
"App not installed"
Usually there isn't enough free space, or an older Melbet build is already on the phone and the new file can't overwrite it. Free up a few hundred MB, uninstall the old app and try again.
"There was a problem parsing the package"
The download broke halfway. Delete the file and download it again over a steady connection.
The app opens to a blank screen
Clear the app's cache (Settings → Apps → Melbet → Storage → Clear cache) and restart the phone. If you use a data-saver or a proxy app, switch it off and try again; they often stop the app from reaching Melbet's servers.
Play Protect deleted the app
Google Play Protect sometimes removes apps it doesn't know. Reinstall from the Melbet site and, when Play Protect asks, choose to install anyway. If it keeps happening, use the mobile site instead.

Checking the Melbet APK Before You Install It
Search results for "melbet apk" are full of download pages that are not Melbet. A few checks take a minute and save you a lot of trouble:
- Where the file came from. Only the mobile apps section of the Melbet site. A file sent to you on Telegram, WhatsApp or a Facebook group is never the safe option, however official the group looks.
- What the installer shows. The install screen names the app. If it says something other than Melbet, or the icon looks off, cancel.
- What it asks for. A betting app has no reason to read your contacts or your SMS inbox. If Android asks for those, uninstall it.
- What you see after logging in. The real app shows your existing balance and bet history straight away. A fake one can't.
Play Protect may warn you that the app is unknown. That happens with every APK from outside Google Play and doesn't mean the file is harmful, which is why the source matters more than the warning. Comparing Melbet with other bookmakers' apps? Our betting apps guide lines them up.
